Description:
The One80 Dot Trainer dartboard has dots or small circles on each section of the single, double and triple areas, to help players focus and aim. By practising on the Dot Trainer dartboard, dart players will develop the skill of visualising the target dots or circles on the dartboard in their mind subconsciously. In time, they would be able to aim at the invisible dots and circles on regular dartboards.
It is only a small modification, but it can tremendously improve the accuracy of each throw of darts by training players concentration on certain points.

The dartboard itself is very appealing colour wise as it is very bright and clear, BUT!!! The wires are extremely bouncy if hit and launches darts back at you at extreme speed due to the fact that they are only spread across the surface of the board and are stapled on. As it is a training board I don’t believe they are necessary and have removed the inner section of the wires from the outer bull to the treble to make it safer. The board is also “VERY” soft and doesn’t hold darts well as the “biscuits” aren’t compressed enough in my opinion and therefore the segments wear very quickly - just a few games (best of 11 legs) will wear out a treble bed easily - I find myself rotating it nightly. My opinion only - great looking board and suits the purpose but could be a little better.
Recently received my Dot Trainer board not realising it wasn’t a blade wire board (my fault for not reading the ad properly) PROS: 1. Great concept - smaller targets give you finer hand eye practice 2. Board is very soft and quiet - so night time practice doesn’t annoy sleeping family 3. Great colour profile- nice and bright CONS: 1. Surface mount diamond wires - cast heavy shadows from ring lights . 2. Causes severe bounce outs that launch the dart back at you from any section. 3. Scoring area severely reduced especially in the bullseye section. I would suggest removing the wires completely except the bullseye as they serve no real function on a practice board - if they were blade wires it would give better surface tension on the board.
It's good,makes you look 👍
